The Canopy Hotel
In recent years, Advanced Office Systems has increased its work with the hotel industry, providing warehousing, project management, delivery and installation services for area facilities. AOS recently completed challenging work at The Canopy hotel in downtown Columbus, a 12-story, 167-unit hotel with a top-floor open bar and restaurant and first-floor bar and restaurant.
With hotels, Advanced Office Systems’ installation services are not limited to just furniture installation. At The Canopy, AOS was also asked to install the refrigeration, safes and art work in each room, and also installed furniture and fixtures at the conference center, meeting center, and party hall. AOS installed extensive artwork placements throughout the hotel, including in all rooms, common areas, bars and restaurants. We also received and delivered to the hotel all linen, place settings, engineering equipment and more.
The Canopy took continuous project management to ensure the on-time completion of the hotel in 2019. AOS worked seven days a week with 12-hour days to make this happen over five months.
